Mesmerizing AlUla (4 Days 3 Nights)

Itinerary:
AlUla is one of the very few places in the world where you can experience the feeling of a true explorer charting the unknown. AlUla was historically located on the Incense route. It was the capital of the ancient Lihyanites (Dedanites) and is well known forarchaeological remnants, some over 2000 years old.

DAY 1: AlUla

On arrival at the AlUla Airport, you will meet your driver and you will be transferred to your hotel in AlUla to your hotel booking. Upon arrival, you will check in to the hotel and relax between 14:00 pm to 15:00 pm in the standard check in timings. Later in the evening, you have the option (at additional cost) to proceed to Alula Old Town. Get a glimpse into AlUla’s not-so-distant past on AlUla Old Town Tour. A Rawi (guide) will lead you through AlUla Old Town, where pilgrims, travelers, and permanent settlers congregated through the ages. Inhabited from before the 12th century up until the early 1980s.

DAY 2: AlUla (Hegra)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel & we proceed for Half Day Hegra Experience. Visit Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the largest preserved site of the Nabataean civilization south of Petra. Home to more than 110 tombs carved from giant rock formations, this ancient site is open for visitors to explore and learn about the culture, traditions, and history of its people. Later in the afternoon, we experience a visit to Elephant Rock. Set in Golden Desert sands and climbing their stories into the Saudi Arabian Sky is the awe-inspiring elephant rock ( Also known as Jabel Al-Fil) one of Al Ula’s many geological Marvels. Unlike the ornate, hand-carved facades of nearby Hegra’s Nabataean tombs, the “trunk” and “body” of this monolithic red sandstone elephant shaped by natural forces — millions of years of wind and water erosion.

DAY 3: AlUla (Old Town)

Get a glimpse into AlUla’s not-so-distant past on AlUla Old Town Tour. A Rawi (guide) will lead you through AlUla Old Town, where pilgrims, travelers, and permanent settlers congregated through the ages. Inhabited from before the 12th century up until the early 1980s, AlUla Old Town offers researchers unique oral histories and living memories that the area’s other heritage sites cannot. With 900 houses, 500 shops, and 5 town squares, you can explore a maze of remnants of original stone and mudbrick buildings and enjoy views of an AlUla Castle dating back to the 10th century. Guest will learn about Old Town’s settlers and pilgrims, as well as their motives and methods in the city’s construction.

DAY 4: AlUla (Departure)

Breakfast at the Hotel & Check-Out. Transfer to AlUla Airport for departure flight. We hope you enjoyed this experience & we look forward to welcoming you soon!
